Four putti: wearing a grey toga and crown, holding a staff, seated on a lion, and pointing to a basket of fruit; wearing a white dress floating in the sky holding a peacock and painting a rainbow; wearing a red toga floating in the sky holding lightning bolts; wearing a blue toga, leaning on an overflowing urn and drinking from a stream trickling over rocks. Outline drawings of the figures on versos of Fire and Air. Not mentioned in John Sunderland, 'John Hamilton Mortimer: His Life and Works', Walpole Society, vol. 52, 1986. Possibly connected to the decoration of the ceiling at Brocket Hall in 1773?
